Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Keyra, operated by Alta Vision (Pvt) Ltd, Colombo, Sri Lanka. By signing in, you agree to them.

Effective: 16 September 2026

1. Who may use Keyra

Keyra is for staff and collaborators of Alta Vision and the companies it works with. It is not offered to the general public. An administrator must approve your account before you can reach any vault, and you must be at least 16 years old.

Your access exists because a company granted it. If that relationship ends, so does your access.

2. Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password, your device, and your passkeys under your own control, and do not let anyone else sign in as you.

Change any starter password the first time you sign in. If you think your account has been compromised, tell us immediately at irushia@altavision.lk or deeghayus@altavision.lk so we can suspend it.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Access credentials, companies, or accounts you have not been granted.
  • Defeat, probe, or work around any access control or approval step.
  • Export or share vault contents outside your company without permission.
  • Upload malware, or use Keyra to store material that is illegal to possess.
  • Scrape the service or use it to build a competing product.
  • Disrupt availability for other users.

4. Credentials you store

You are responsible for having the right to store any credential you put into Keyra, and for removing credentials that should no longer exist. Keyra is a place to keep shared secrets in order; it does not make you the rightful owner of them.

Rotate a credential whenever someone with access to it leaves the team. Keyra can revoke a person's access, but it cannot change a password on a third-party system for you.

5. Google Sign-In and passkeys

Signing in with Google is optional and subject to Google's own terms. Keyra requests only basic profile and email scopes, and you can revoke that access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

Passkeys depend on your device and its operating system. If you lose every device holding a passkey and have no other sign-in method, an administrator will need to restore your access.

6. Content and intellectual property

The credentials and notes stored in a company vault belong to that company, or to the client they relate to, under whatever arrangements already exist between you.

The Keyra application, its source code, and the Keyra name and mark belong to Alta Vision (Pvt) Ltd. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose while your account is active.

7. Privacy

How we handle your data, including anything received through Google APIs, is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Availability and warranties

Keyra is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may take the service down for maintenance.

Keep an independent recovery path for anything business-critical. Keyra is a convenience layer over your credentials, not a substitute for your own disaster recovery planning.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Alta Vision is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of Keyra.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is capped at LKR 25,000 or the amount you paid us for Keyra in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater.

10. Suspension and termination

An administrator may suspend or remove your account if you breach these terms, if your role changes, or if your engagement with the company ends. We may suspend accounts immediately where we believe a security incident is underway.

You may stop using Keyra at any time and ask us to delete your account under section 8 of the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change, and material changes will be announced inside the application. Continuing to use Keyra after a change means you accept the revised terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. The courts of Colombo have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
